Implementation
Procurement of attractions
Pre-selection of potential vendors in agreement with the developer of the project. Review of the technical scope as submitted by ride vendors in response to the RFPs and advise the developer on the adequacy of the specifications including THRC, height limitations, ride cycle time, TUV certification, etc.
Review of the bids received from the potential vendors for adequacy and completeness of scope and compliance with regulatory and safety procedures as specified in the RFP.
Technical and commercial evaluation.
Advisory on the allocation within individual ride budget categories subject to the total budget proposed.
Negotiation of rides contracts: price, delivery, payment terms and services according to the scope and budget agreed by the developer of the park and in coordination with the developer legal team.
Support from the Procurement team, project manager, negotiators and legal support.
Presentation to the developer of different options and recommendations for each ride to take the final decision on the vendor selected, the ride conditions and the contract format.
Certification and installation
Proposal and recommendation of different certification companies for final decision of the developer.
Visits to the ride manufacturers offices and facilities.
Support on the installation of the rides.
Control of works and delivery times from vendors.
Assistance on the elaboration of the operations manuals for the rides in collaboration with vendors.
Attendance to steering committee meeting on site on a periodical basis.
Pre-openning
Coordination of works needed for pre-opening of the Park.
Staffing plan for the Park:
Providing operational input to layout/interior, fit-out requirement, all operation related buildings areas including but not limited to BOH, reception, kitchen / restaurant /ticketing system, CCTV, telephone, sound system, wayfinding signage, etc.
Providing list of OS&E with specs and quantity for purchasing all operation supplies & equipment according to similar parks.
Support to the management team to prepare the operational standards and full set of manuals and policies, according to our procedures.
F&B strategy including menu definition and vendor selection.
Advising for the marketing and commercial plan.
Web design and digital strategy.
Launch campaign ( communication, media, events, etc)
Interaction and follow up with other resort components (Hotels).
Integration of the Park and its management team in our operational structure with access to best practices, business models and synergies applicable.
Provision of the list of equipment needed to open the Park.
A Steering Committee, coordinated by the Project Manager, will meet on a regular basis. This Committee will comprise at least the Developer, Investors and our members.
